Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde was full of joy when he received letter of recognition affirming upgrade of Emmanuel Alayande College of Education to Emmanuel Alayande University of Education at the secretariat of National Universities Commission (NUC), Abuja.
The Executive Secretary of the NUC, team ably led by Prof. Abubakar Rasheed presented the letter of recognition of the University to the Governor which signifies that the school can now tun full fledge university programme without hindrance.

Governor Makinde led Oyo State delegation team to the NUC Secretariat, Abuja. The Chairman, Governing Council, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Prof. Deji Omole, former House of Assembly Speaker, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and others witnessed the epoch making event.
Makinde expressed to those that were instrumental to the feat achieved by his administration in the education sector.
