Former Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has alleged that Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde is plotting the removal of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
Fayose disclosed this on Sunday via tweet through his verified X formerly Twitter. He said Governor is planning to commence removal of His Imperial Majesty this week with a Government Query following the absence of the Monarch at the coronation of three High Chiefs into beaded crown monarchs.
“I heard reliably that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is plotting the removal of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja.
“The plot is to commence this week, with Government Query to be issued against Olubadan, citing his absence at the failed coronation of High Chiefs in Ibadanland two weeks ago, and other allegations “.
As at the time of filing this report, no official message has been issued by Oyo State Government to debunk Fayose’s claim to sack Olubadan.
