Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Monday inspected the newly established Oyo State Security Joint Force Base at Mamu Village on the Oyo/Ogun States border.

The pilot project implementation is one of the decisions taken at the Oyo State Security Task Force meeting on March 15 to secure all state’s entry or exit points.

According to the Governor, rhe Security Joint Force is made up of officers of the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.

Oyo State government donated 9 operational vehicles for use by men in uniform while CCTV cameras were installed in the area which are monitored from the Security Control Room.
