Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde on Tuesday inaugurated the Oyo State Road Safety Advisory Council and appointed his the Chief of Staff, Hon. Segun Ogunwuyi as its Chairman.
Governor Makinde stressed that the role of the newly inaugurated State’s Road Safety Advisory Council is to advise the government on measures to adopt in order to keep road users safe in Oyo State.
The members of the are committee are; Works and Transport Commissioner, Prof. Daud Shangodyin, Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Oyelowo Oyewo, Budget and Economic Planning Commissioner, Prof. Musibau Babatunde, Environment and Natural Resources Commissioner, Mr. Abiodun Oni, Health Commissioner, Dr. Bode Ladipo, Education, Science and Technology Commissioner, Barrister Rahman Abdul-Raheem, Oyo State Sector Command of FRSC, Mrs. Uche Winifred and Representative of Nigerian Society of Engineers, Engr. Victor Ogunranti.
