Governor Seyi Makinde on Friday played a host of Mrs. Grace Oladejo, the director of Bismag Catering Services, at his Ibadan residence and cleared a sum N4million naira debt.
Mrs Oladejo who was owed a sum of four million naira (N4m) by the Oyo state Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, after catering for them at the Youth Engage Programme.
The caterer’s lamentation went viral after she couldn’t get her money for services rendered to the youth wing of the Oyo PDP.
The woman had urged Engr Makinde, as a listening governor and the chairman of the party, Dayo Ogungbenro to help her retrieve the payment for foods that were eaten during the event which held last month.
According to the caterer, she has agreed to provide the food because she believes Makinde is a good and reliable person.
The food, distributed to 2,500 attendees, was put at the cost of N4,000,000.
She explained that she agreed to cater for them when one Alao Olalekan, stood as guarantor.
Not happy with the situation, Makinde was said to have invited the youth leadership of party after which she invited the woman and paid the money.
