The efforts by the Governor Seyi Makinde led administration to attract investors to the state is yielding positive results as newly hospitality business kicked off in Ibadan.
The Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun while commissioning the Wavelength Hotel and Suites applauded the administration of Engr Seyi Makinde for the success recorded in making Oyo State investment destination for investors across the sectors.
Dr Olatunbosun said Makinde led administration has done a lot in areas of security and infrastructure in the state which attracted investors to state. He noted the hospitality business will improve the economy of the state.
Olatunbosun appreciated the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Wavelength Hotel & Suites, he further expressed his satisfaction with the contribution made to the community through its Corporate Social Responsibility by providing portable water and street lights to revive night business.
The Chief Executive Officer of the hospitality said Oyo State has been home for him over the past 25 years. He said he grew up Oyo State, schooled in Oyo and conduct business in Oyo State.
On why he considered Oyo State for the business, he said Oyo State is peaceful, has low crime rate and state that has attracted investors in recent time. He stressed that all employees of the organization are indigenes of Oyo State.
