Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has inaugurated of former OYHA Speaker, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu and four others to audit the local government chairmen in Oyo state.
This became necessary as the Makinde led government planning to conduct LG election soon.
In a statement released by the Governor via his social media handles, Senator Sunmonu was appointed as the Chairman of the committee. The Committee has four weeks to deliver the assignment.
The statement obtained by freshpage.com.ng reads:
“This evening, we inaugurated a 5-person committee to audit the Local Government Caretaker Chairmen in Oyo State.
“The committee will be led by Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, and will have four weeks to conduct the audit and hand in their report.”
