The All Progressives Congress APC chieftain in the state, Alhaji M.K.O Olaoye has described former Senator of Oyo South and two term governor of the State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as God sent politician to Oyo State who raised bar of governance and defined pathway for emancipation of people in the state.
Alhaji M.K.O Olaoye, a former Chief Administrator of Oyo State Transport Pool expressed this in a tribute he personally released for late ex-governor of the state on the occasion of his 71st posthumous birthday.
Alhaji Olaoye disclosed that the one term Senator and two term governor of the state would clocked 71 years this month before he bowed to death on 25th June, 2020 when his service was needed at the higher political position.
Alhaji Olaoye expressed sadness that Mr. quality, forthright leader, architect of modern Oyo State, peace advocate and caring father is not alive to alive to celebrate his journey into septuagenarian with loving family, progressive leaders, friends and associates but his undiluted record of good governance and manager of human and materials resources would continue to linger and be a reference point for years.
The APC chieftain affirmed that death is a universal debt everyone would pay at the due time, recounted that exit of Senator Abiola Ajimobi from the political scene came at a period his experience would be needed most to realign with aggrieved members of the party and position the party better for future election.
The former chief administrator admonished family to take solace in the fact late former governor has contributed immensely to the growth and progress of Oyo state and world at large.
