It is no longer news that Oyo State House of Assembly members have initiated impeachment process against Deputy Governor of the State, Engr Rauf Olaniyan who defected from Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to All Progressives Congress, APC recently.
FRESHPAGE gathered the list of 24 lawmakers out of 32 members of OYHA who signed the petition for five-count offenses against Deputy Governor, Engr Rauf Olaniyan.
Oyo Assembly members began move to impeach the Deputy Governor when they submitted a petition during the plenary of the house on Wednesday.
Twenty-four members out of the 32 members of the assembly have however initiated impeachment process against the deputy governor.
The lawmakers in the petition read by the Clerk of the Assembly, Yetunde Awe, alleged the deputy governor on five-count offenses; gross misconduct, abuse of office, financial recklessness, abandonment of office, official duty, insubordination and other offences.
