Professor Muhammed Mustapha-Akanbi, the Vice Chancellor, Kwara State University, is dead.

His death news came through the Publicity Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Kwara Chapter, Ridwan Musa Esq.

Prof. Mustapha-Akanbi reportedly died after brief illness in Ilorin.

According to the statement issued by NBA Publicity Secretary, the remains of Prof. Mustapha-Akanbi will lowered to grave in his country, Ilorin on Monday, November 21, 2022 according to Islamic rites.

Prior his death, the late VC had over 60 publications in local and international journals where large number in Alternative Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Law.

The Janãzah prayer will be offered at his residence after Solatu-‘Asri.
