The Executive and Pioneer Chairman Oke Ibadan LCDA, Hon. Samuel Kola Ajadi has described the late and immediate past governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi as architect of modern governance, a grasroot mobiliser and a believer in autonomy of local government in the state.

Hon. Kola Ajadi who is also the Mogaji from Ibadan disclosed this in a tribute to late former governor of the state on the occasion of his first posthumous birthday which would have been celebrated on Wednesday, 16th December, 2020.

The Ibadan Mogaji affirmed that the late two term governor of the state would clocked 71 years this month before he was called on to glory by his creator on 25th June, 2020.

Hon. Ajadi noted with strong feeling that builder of modern Oyo state is not alive to be celebrated by all his family, benefactors, meentees, political associates and friends but his sterling achievement, true governance and sense of humor he created can never be forgotten by the people.

The pioneer of Oke Ibadan LCDA maintained that death is the ultimate price for all living creature, explained that death of jinx broker and a true leader of progressive in the state came at a time when his experience was needed most.
He described late Senator Abiola Ajimobi as a core progressive, brilliant businessman, a succeful politician, achiever and an administrator with impeccable character.

Hon. Ajadi admonished the family to take solace in the fact late former governor has contributed immensely to the growth and progress of Oyo state and world at large.
