The Vice Chancellor, University of Ibadan, Prof. Kayode Adebowale has reiterated his administration’s determination to reposition the teaching, learning and research in the University to boost its global ranking.

The 13th VC stated this at a 3-day Management Retreat tagged “Towards a Global First Rate University, Harnessing Strengths and Opportunities”. Prof. Adebowale solicited for the unwavering support, cooperation and assistance of all stakeholders to attain and maintain global ranking for the University of Ibadan.

In his presentation tagged “Hands of a Thousand Rafters.…” Prof. Adebowale Identified 19 Action Plans that will assist him in his quest to sustain University of Ibadan as a global leader.
The 10th and 12th Vice Chancellors of the University; Prof. Olufemi Bamiro and Prof. Idowu Olayinka present charged the present administrators of the Universities in Nigeria to look beyond the government to make the a difference.
Prof. Bamiro emphasized on the need for Vice Chancellors to use data effectively.
