A minister in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has tendered his resignation following alleged certificate scandal.
The Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology, Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, on Monday took the bold move to communicate Presidency of his plan to resign from his portfolio.

Nnaji resigned following some allegations against him.
According to the Nation, Nnaji resigned on Monday in a letter thanking the President for allowing him to serve Nigeria.
Special Adviser to President Tinubu Bayo Onanuga confirmed the development in a statement, saying the President has accepted the resignation.
According to Onanuga: “Nnaji said he has been a target of blackmail by political opponents.
“President Tinubu thanked him for his service and wished him well in future endeavours.”
