The founder of Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF), Sen. Adesoji Akanbi has bagged prestigious Merit Award of the Ansar-ud-deen Society, Oyo State Council.
Sheikh Dr. Nurain Akinniran delivered lecture at the event tagged ”Islam and Nation Building”.
The Award was presented to him on Sunday, 28th November, 2021 at the Islamic Center, Liberty road, Oke-Ado, Ibadan in honour and recognition of his meritorious service to humanity, exemplary conduct and outstanding contributions to Islam and Muslim organization.
Senator Akanbi was ably represented by Alhaji Araromi Yusuf and Mogaji Badmus Adewale.
Other awardees at the programme were Alhaji Muhydeen Ajani Bello, Prince Lateef Olasunkanmi Fagbemi, SAN among others.
Senator Akanbi in appreciation message thanked the association for considering him for such award saying the award will spur him to renew his commitment to community service, strengthen his religion tolerance with people of diverse background.
