Religious leaders across the three recognized faith on Friday gathered in Ibadan, Oyo State capital to offer prayer to God for the release of Yoruba Nation Agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly called Sunday Igboho.
Igboho who is currently in detention for crime relating to fake traveling documents in Cotonou prison.
Igboho ran out of Nigeria after his Ibadan’s house located at Soka was raided by men of Department of State Security DSS on July 1st, 2021 for allegedly stockpiling illegal fire arms.
Igboho was arrested at an airport in Cotonou on July 19, 2021 while attempting to board flight to another country.
The religious leaders demanded unconditional release of Chief Sunday Igboho and called on the government to end kidnapping, banditry, terrorism among other social vices.
