Residents of Ibadan, Oyo State capital took to the major roads within the metropolis to protest over Naira scarcity and hike in pump price of Premium Motor Spirit.
The protesters blocked Iwo Road roundabout obstructing free vehicular movement.
At the Agodi Gate, protesters converged at T-junction linking Secretariat and Oje-Bere road. Tyres and other inflammable materials were set ablaze.
Men of Operation Burst, security outfit were sighted by FRESHPAGE.COM.NG chasing protesters who armed themselves from the road.
