The Chairman, Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM), Pastor Akinade Alamu has said that successful applicants in the ongoing teachers’ recruitment would be posted to their local government of origin to ensure that no LG is shortchanged.
Pastor Alamu made this statement while featuring on Oluyole 98.5fm about the just concluded CBT exam for intending teachers in the State.
Pastor Alamu said that inability of the large number of applicants to operate computer responsible for low performance in the CBT exam.
“Failure of some of the applicants to submit after concluding CBT exam responsible for the delay in releasing the results. It took us several hours while checking to help some of the applicants to submit their answers so as to guide against non-release of results.”
While speaking on the cut off mark, he reaffirmed that number of vacancies exist in each the subject advertised by the commission will determine cut off mark.
Pastor Alamu stressed that 800 successful applicants that sat for conversion exam from non-teaching to teaching cadre are awaiting to pick up their appointment letter.
