Oyo State House of Assembly (OYHA), has approved the running mate of Governor Makinde ahead of 2023 gubernatorial election as the new deputy governor of the state following the impeachment of Engr Rauf Olaniyan.
FreshPage reports that Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin led speaker of the house on Monday impeached Olaniyan following the investigative reports submitted Chief Judge of the State.
The swearing-in of Barr Bayo Lawal as the deputy governor of Oyo State is scheduled to hold by 3pm.
