The two term governor of Edo State and immediate past National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Comrade Adams Oshiomole has begged for forgiveness from the good people of Edo state and admitted that he supported a wrong man, Godwin Obaseki to become Governor of Edo State in 2016.
His statement came barely 2 months to the governorship election in Edo State schedule to hold on September 19.
Comrade Adams Oshiomole made the shocking revelation yesterday while at his home town Iyahmo, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state where he was received by mammoth crowd.
The immediate past National Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) just returned from Abuja to strengthen the chance of APC candidate to emerge at the poll.
The former Nigeria Labour Congress Leader said it is time to correct the wrong of the past and replace Governor Obaseki with a visionary leader, a pastor like Ize-Iyamu.
Comrade Oshiomole made an open confession that Pastor Osaghie Ize-Iyamu worked tirelessly for him to win Edo guber election 2012 which made him won all the 18 local government areas in Edo State.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has cleared 14 aspirants for the number one political seat in the state.
