The second term ambition of Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State received boost as Labour Party in the State declared its total support for gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.
The State Chairman, Labour Party, Hon. Sadiq Atayese conveyed the decision of the party at the Press Conference held in party’s secretariat, Molete, Ibadan, that The Labour Party in Oyo State has adopted the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Governor Seyi Makinde ahead of March 11 gubernatorial election.
The Press Conference had in attendance, State Working Committee of the party, National Assembly and State Assembly candidates and members of the party.

FRESHPAGE gathered that the decision of the Labour Party in the State to support candidacy of Engr Seyi Makinde didn’t go down well with its gubernatorial candidate, Mr. Tawfiq Akinwale who had earlier debunked decision of Labour Party hours before the Press Conference.
