The People’s Democratic Party, PDP faction loyal to Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced postponement of its National Caucus, Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee meeting indefinitely. The meetings were earlier schedule to hold this week.

According to the public notice issued and signed by the National Secretary of the party, Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, he said the decision for the postponement was arrived to pursue reconciliation within the party.
FreshPage recalls that Appeal Court judgement nullified the November 2025 National Convention held in Ibadan that produced Alhaji Tanimu Turaki among others. The judgement of the Appeal Court also sacked activities of executives loyal to Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike.
Arajapa tendered apology for the inconvenience postponement may cause members of the National Caucus, Board of Trustees and National Executive Committee.
