Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has directed the Vice-Chancellor of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Prof. M.O Ologunde to step aside from office and handover to the most senior principal office of the institution.
The directive was contained in press statement released by the Oyo State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and signed by Commissioner for Education, Barrister Olasunkanmi Olaleye.
Oyo state government took the decision days after it constituted Governing Council for the institution.
