Barely 48hours after the court dismissed case delaying government’s approval of Senator Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadanland, Ibadan Chiefs under the umbrella of Olubadan-in- council has nominated the Otun Olubadan of Ibadaland, High Chief Senator Lekan Balogun as the next Olubadan of Ibadanland.
FreshPage gathered that the nomination scaled through on Thursday when the High Chiefs met at the residence of Balogun of Ibadanland, High Chief Owolabi Olakunlehin.
The Director of Administration and General Service, Ibadan South East Local Government represented the government and moderated the meeting.
Present at the meeting held at High Chief Olakunlehin’s residence were It Olubadan, High Chief Lekan Balogun, Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief owolabi Olakuleyin, Osi Olubadan High Chief Rasidi Ladoja, Otun Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola, Olubadan High Chief Eddy Oyewole, Osi Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief Lateef Gbadamosi Adebimpe, Ashipa Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief kolawole Adegbola, and Ekerin Balogun of Ibadanland High Chief Dada Ishioye.
