As insecurity took another dimension in Oyo state and entire federation following the spate of kidnapping and banditry,the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State for 2019 general elections, Oloye Adebayo Adelabu has visited the Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Ngozi Onadeko.

The purpose of the visit is how to restore the security of lives and properties the state has enjoyed in the past.

Oloye Adelabu promised immediate release of two million naira cash (N2million) relief for the widows of police officers lynched during the EndSARS protest that took place last year October.

The former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) took his time to inspect the affected police stations in Ibadan.

 

It would be recalled more than five police stations were attacked by suspected hoodlums that hijacked the protest in Oyo State as no fewer than three policemen were lynched during the sad period.

Chief Adelabu indicated his interest to rebuild the three police stations to raise the security and provide better service condition for the men in uniform.

The listed police stations are; Ojoo police station in Akinyele local government, New Gbagi police station in Egbeda local government and Iseyin police station in Iseyin local government area of the state.
