Chief Adebayo AbdulWaheed Adelabu has dumped All Progressives Congress (APC) for yet to be announced political party.
Adelabu made the statement on Sunday hours after he lost Oyo State gubernatorial ticket to Senator Teslim Folarin as the party’s standard bearer come 2023.
According to Adelabu, he said his followers asked him to leave APC and he has follow suit. The former Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) said he will sit down with leaders of the party on the next political party to join come 2023.
Present at the venue where Adelabu renounced his membership were Senator Ayoade Adeseun, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi, Oyo South Senatorial aspirant, Dr. Olusola Ayandele, Chief Kunle Sanda, former ALGON Chairman, Abass Aleshinloye, Chief Wasiu Ajimobi and others.
