Junior Chamber International (JCI) Premier in collaboration with TAM Money Mastery Academy on Sunday, 31st March organized a panel session to educate female entrepreneurs on how to navigate the business space and become major drivers of growth and development in the sector.
The event which held at Board Room, UI Hotels, Ibadan had in attendance successful female entrepreneurs with years of experience in their choosing career. The program was put together under the leadership JCIN Amb. Adedayo Ifeoluwa Duduyemi, 2024 President, JCI Premier to commemorate International Women’s Day (IWD).
JCI Sen. Temi Alade-Mustapha, Executive Director, TAM Money Mastery Academy while speaking at the event urged participants to take the bulls by its horns and rise up against business challenges that could impede them from becoming successful female entrepreneurs.
Alade-Mustapha while speaking gave out tips on how female entrepreneurs will navigate the business space without undermining their objectives. She identified that vision of the entrepreneur is key to her success to scale up and become a force to reckon with in business world. She emphasized the importance of collaboration by creating a network of good people to leverage on.
She noted that men have advantage than women in business space but that should not deter the women navigating the business space and make good reputation for themselves. To overcome all challenges, Alade-Mustapha encouraged participants to step up their financial intelligent, social intelligent, emotional intelligent, management intelligent among others.
‘’Don’t give excuse over expectations, pursue your goals with passion and renewed vigour, definitely, good results will follow’’.
Also speaking at the event, C.E.O, Ibadan Entrepreneurs’ Network, Dr Oyenike Adeleke, charged participants on self-discovery. According to Adeleke, self-discovery will open doors of financial literacy and taking impactful decision to drive business to an enviable heights. She stressed that self-development will continue to make entrepreneurs development.
Adding her voice to the topic, JCIN Amb Adedeji Oluwabunmi took participants through how to leverage on any available opportunities. The Chairman, International Women’s Day (IWD) emphasized importance of changing tactics if the current one is not yielding desired results. While answering question on how to strike a balance between business and family, Amb. Adedeji urged participants not to venture into a business that will affect their homes. She encouraged them to embrace time management to strike a balance between business and family.
