The excellent ladies club is a non-governmental, non-political, social organization with vision and mission focused on capacity development and confidence building in the female groups in the society.

As part of the activities lined-up to commemorate this year International Women’s Day, the leader of the group- Mrs. Oluwaseyi Ilori, visited St. Mathias Primary schools in Orogun with some members of the group to present 50(Fifty)sets of new school uniforms to both the male and female pupils of the school.

The club had earlier got approval from the state ministry of Education through the office of the Commissioner for Education before proceeding with the exercise. Meanwhile, the activity was intended to enable pupils with torn uniforms or without uniform receives their classes comfortably and with good feelings of belonging. The pupils of the school upon receiving the uniform were very happy and full of joy. Some of the pupils expressed their happiness and thanked the club leadership for the kind gesture.

The Head-teacher of the school also expressed his gratitude to the club and good people of the society who supported the club financially and morally for the success of this laudable program.

The President of the club in her address also thanked the good people of their immediate communities, philanthropies, patron, Matron, club adviser and the great members of Excellent Ladies Club for their supports towards the growth and development of the club and the society at large. She now urges the government Agencies, parastatals, and concerned people of the state to always remember the vulnerable groups of our society i.e the women, the Children and the Aged, in their several empowerment and liberation programs.

She concluded by calling upon the parents and guidance to do all in their capacity to ensure adequate care for these young ones, because they are the future of our dear nation.
