The lawmaker representing Ibadan North federal constituency, Prince Akinremi Jagaban has urged youths in Ibadan North federal constituency and beyond to embrace capacity development.
He made the call while felicitating with youths on the occasion of this year’s international Youth Day.
Prince Jagaban said the role of the Youths in nation building and national development has been well documented over the years. He further described youths as energetic, creative and productive when properly guided.
“For a country like ours that looks forward to a prosperous future, Youths involvement in national issues has to be given serious consideration. They have to be adequately carried along in decision making and implementation of such decisions in the best interest of our country.
“At this point, Youths mentorship remains paramount and should be given the necessary attention, and the Prince AkÃnrẹ̀mà Foundation (PAF) has been contributing to this course by encouraging capacity building for Ibà dà n North Youths.
“I want to charge the Youths of ÃŒbà dà n North and beyond to continually develop capacity accross various fields, to take interest in issues of national importance and actively participate in all activities and processes that decides the future of our dear nation.
