An elder statesman and former president of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to Olubadan-designate, Senator Lekan Balogun at his Alarere residence in Ibadan.
The former president was led to the residence of Senator Lekan Balogun by ex-council boss of Ibadan North East, Hon. Gbenga Adewusi.
Chief Obasanjo had a closed door meeting with Senator Lekan Balogun that lasted for about 5 minutes.
Before Chief Obasanjo left the residence of Olubadan-designate, he promised to prostrate before Senator Balogun announced to be crowned as 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan when next he visits him.
Chief Obasanjo said he will do this to as obeisance to stool of traditional monarch.
