Politicians across political parties are considering what will be their relevance in the 2023 general elections.
The Vice Chairman, Pace Setter Transport Company, Hon. Segun Taiwo has resigned his appointment with Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde.
The former federal lawmaker who represented four local government areas that comprise of AFIJIO, Atiba, Oyo East and Oyo West for Oyo Federal Constituency.
Hon. Taiwo disclosed his resignation from Governor Makinde’s government while speaking with Oyo Insight online newspaper. Hon. Taiwo said he cannot be collecting money for doing nothing.
He remarked that Governor Makinde is a good man but surrounded himself with people that didn’t want genuine progress for Oyo State.
Hon. Taiwo said he made several attempt to meet Governor Makinde before he tendered his resignation letter with no positive results. He clarified that he was never a member of PDP but only worked for the emergence of Governor Seyi Makinde in 2019.
