As part of the effort to give back to society and strong determination to ensure that less privileged students in Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency have access to quality education, a federal House of representatives hopeful, Hon. Mayowa Akanbi Folorunsho Olamide has distributed one hundred (100) JAMB forms to students in Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency.
The distribution of the JAMB forms and past questions took place at the Teacher’s House located in Orogun, Ibadan.
It was excitement moment for parents and students from Akinyele and Lagelu Local Government Areas who benefitted from the good gesture of Hon. Folorunsho.
The Coordinator, MAFO, Hon. Kayode Olorundare welcome parents, students and political leaders from the two local government areas. Hon. Olorundare urged parents to always appreciate whosoever sow seed in the academic of their wards. Hon. Olorundare stressed that the free JAMB forms and past questions in the four subjects each student will write in UTME is an affirmation to MAFO’s genuine love for education of his constituents.
The coordinator described the initiative as a commendable one and he prayed to God to assist the students to excel in their examination
In his words, the All Progressives Congress, APC party chairman in Akinyele local government, Engr Akinbode advised the students to double their preparation ahead of the examination. He noted that admission is competitive now than ever before.
Engr Akinbode described the young visionary Hon. Folorunsho as politician with pure heart that is ready assist intellectual minds through investment in their educational career.
The Party Chairman confirmed that students from the major ethnic tribes in Nigeria benefitted from the free JAMB forms and past questions thereby affirming Hon. Folorunsho as detribalised Nigerian.
In his fatherly words, Elder Folorunsho Jokotogun recalled how young Hon. Mayowa Akanbi Folorunsho Olamide, MAFO benefitted from different scholarship while growing up. He specifically mentioned how Hon. Folorunsho benefitted from Scholarship while in Junior Secondary School and 100-level as undergraduate student.
Elder Folorunsho Jokotogun appreciated God for the life of the Hon. Folorunsho and described free JAMB forms and past questions for students as a way of assisting parents.
