The third batch of Oyo State pilgrims have returned to Nigeria from Saudi Arabia after spending nearly a month in the holy lands.

They arrived barely 10 days after the first batch arrived from the holy land.

The aircraft carrying 238 pilgrims landed at Muritala Muhammad International Airport in Lagos at 6:25 am this morning.

It would be recalled that the third batch of Oyo State pilgrims left Ibadan on Friday, 1st July 2022 for Lagos where they were airlifted to the holy lands.

With the arrival of the third batch today, about 61 pilgrims from Oyo State still remain in the holy lands awaiting airlift to Nigeria.
