Oyo State Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism, Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Prof. Musbaudeen Babatunde were among 238 third batch of Oyo pilgrims who left Muritala International Airport, Lagos on Saturday evening and landed at the Abdul Azeez International Airport Medina in Saudi Arabia same day.

All pilgrims on arrival visited Prophet Muhammad’s Mosque in Medina.

Among the 238 pilgrims are Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Barrister Abdul Rahman Abdul Raheem, Head of Service Alhaja Hamdalat Agboola.

Other members of the contingent are vice Chairman, State Pilgrims Welfare Board (Muslim Wing), Dr. Ibrahim Adebolu, Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Islamic Affairs Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Abdul-Azeez, and the Board’s Secretary, Alhaja Olanipekun.
