The proprietor of Tana Suites, Mr. Olugbenga Owolabi and a staff of the hotel, Ms Rachael Opadele who were abducted last week have been reportedly killed by gunmen in Abaa community, Ogbomoso.

FRESHPAGE.COM.NG gathered that the proprietor of the hotel returned to the country recently from overseas while Rachael was a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH until her death.

Okada rider that conveyed family members of the victims to the den of kidnappers with a five million naira (N5million) ransom was reportedly killed.

FreshPage recalls that the victims were kidnapped in Abaa community last week and the abductors demanded 100m naira.

A family source who spoke with journalist hinted that after negotiation the family arranged N5m which was taken to the bandit on Tuesday and confirmed by them after which the victims were shot, the person who conveyed the money to them was also shot but he was lucky to escape

It was also gathered that the police have deposited the corpse at a morgue while the person who sustained injury is recieving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.

A resident of Abaa community who spoke with journalist said residents are already protesting against the insecurity and blocked major roads leading to the place.
