The Youths for New Nigeria (YNN) Oyo State Chapter has rejoiced with Oyo State Commissioner of Youths and Sport Hon. Seun Fakorede, who was tested negative for COVID-19 yesterday after long battle with deadly virus for the past three weeks.
“We called for the intensified prayer from Christians and Muslims for God to end the scourge, while tasking peope of Oyo State and Nigerians to follow the hygienic rule and guideline stipulated to ward off the disease.
“We are happy to receive the news of the test of Hon Commissioner for Youths and Sport Seun Fakorede who tested negative for deadly COVID-19 viral infection.
“We pray to Almighty God to continue be with him and his family . Similarly I pray for the protection of all the citizens of the state from the Covid-19 scourge.
“There is no established cure for COVID-19 yet but it is not a death sentence as it can be managed. Therefore, I urge my fellow people to obey the governments and work collectively to stop the spread by constantly washing our hands and observing high standards of hygiene, avoiding social gatherings and events. Stay at home, stay safe”.
