Encomiums have continued to pour in for Oba Oju Opo, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as he celebrates 80 years of existence on earth.
Engr Joseph Tegbe has joined eminent Nigerians, sons and daughters of Ibadanland on behalf of his wife, Abimbola , the Oguntegbe and Ayandipo families to felicitate Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as he joined the league of octogenarian.
Mogaji Tegbe in his congratulatory message to former governor of the Oyo State, described him as golden son of Ibadan whose his achievements in the last eight decades is unquantifiable.

“The occasion of this Oak jubilee gives us an opportunity to appreciate the grace of Almighty God over the life of our Father as a business man, Senator, Governor and now Otun-Olubadan. Oba Ladoja is indeed a golden son of Ibadan and we are proud of his noble achievements in eight decades on earth.
“Over the past years, Oba Oju-Opo has left a legacy of unwavering commitment to the well-being of Oyo State citizens, especially the downtrodden. His passion for the progress of our dear Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria are noteworthy. He is a worthy ambassador of Ibadanland, who has demonstrated love for peace and unity in Ibadanland, as well as the preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage.
“I join other Oguntegbe descendants from Labo to pray that the Almighty grants our Father many more years in good health; more strength and wisdom to enable him fulfil his desire to ascend the throne of our Fathers as Olubadan”.
