Former Special Assistant on Broadcast Media to the immediate past governor of Oyo State, late Abiola Ajimobi, Mr Babatunde Olaniyi is dead.
FreshPage gathered that Mr. Olaniyi died on Wednesday. This online newspaper recalls the deceased served during the first term of Ajimobi’s administration between 2011-2015.
Late Babatunde Olaniyi was a veteran broadcaster, author and politician.
Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Oyo State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, confirmed the death of Mr. Babatunde Olaniyi in a Facebook post made on Thursday.
According to Dr Olatunbosun; “This is painful but who are we to query God. May God grant BABATUNDE Olaniyi, (Ti O Komo) eternal rest.”
