Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and Technology, Ikere-Ekiti, Ekiti State has expelled two students over bullying another colleague in the private hostel outside University campus.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Dr. Veronica Makinde disclosed this while speaking with pressmen in Ikere-Ekiti that University took decision following the recommendation of the Students Disciplinary Committee to expel Opemipo Precious Bolaji and Genesis Osaro for bullying another student.

The University exonerated two students and issued warning to one student in connection with bullying of another colleague.
Earlier, the bullying video had went viral in the WhatsApp group of the Mass Communication. In the viral video obtained by FRESHPAGE, Opemipo and her accompany threatened to beat victim to stupor.

Dr Makine said the safety and security of all students remain priority of University management and warned students to desist from intimidating and bullying under colleagues.
