The lawmaker representing Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency, Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating former First Lady of Oyo State, Chief (Mrs) Florence Ajimobi as one of the Ambassadors of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a congratulatory statement personally issued by the lawmaker and made available to journalists in Ibadan, Hon. Akinmoyede popularly called ‘Lafi’ described the appointment as a well deserved and a recognition of Mrs Ajimobi’s personal capacity, character, and competence in both private and public space.

Hon. Lafi hailed Mrs Ajimobi’s remarkable contributions to Oyo State and to the All Progressives Congress (APC) family, he praised her tireless commitment to preserving the legacy of her husband, late Abiola Ajimobi after his demise describing it as quite inspiring.
According to Lafi, “Mrs Ajimobi has continued to stand as a pillar of unity, strength, and genuine progress within the APC family in Oyo State. You have shown much concern and dedication to holding the party together. You have remained a mother-figure to many through wise counsel, compassion, philanthropist, and consistently demonstrated leadership rooted in humility, service, and a deep passion for the welfare of others.
