Adamawa State Governor, Mr. Umaru Fintiri on Thursday commissioned 9.7km dualisation of Saki township road in Oke-ogun zone of Oyo State.
The newly delivered road project by Governor Seyi Makinde led administration was awarded in 2016 by immediate past governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi.
Governor Makinde revoked the project from the contractor handling for slow pace and other sundry issues; and re-awarded the 9.7km road in September, 2020.
Within 15 months, the road was delivered by the administration of Governor Makinde. The dualisation Saki township road cover Oke-Ogun Polytechnic road and Ilesha Ibaruba road.
In his remark, Governor Makinde said; “my administration will continue to carry out developmental projects in all parts of Oyo State and complete all viable projects that will expand our economy and benefit the good people of Oyo state”.
Adamawa State Governor, Fintiri was joined by Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan, Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin and other top government functionaries attended the commissioning of the project.
