The former Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academics), University of Ibadan, Prof. Adigun Agbaje hasbeen reportedly kidnapped on Ijebu-Ibadan road.
FRESHPAGE.COM.NG learnt the first class and professor of Political Science was kidnapped on Friday while coming to Ibadan from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye where he is currently observing sabbatical.
According to UI’s source obtained by FIJ, the abductors intercepted his car, whisked him away at Sat Guru Maharaji Garden after successfully eliminated some policemen around the scene.
The abductors have since contacted the Agbaje family to demand a N50million ransom.
