Former deputy governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo along with three thousand two hundred and eighty four (3,284) students took matriculation oath of the Postgraduate College, University of Ibadan for 2022/2023 academic session.

The event which took place at the International Conference Centre of the University on Thursday had in attendance matriculants from various nineteen (19) faculties of the University.

According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Adebowale while giving the breakdown of total number of candidates that applied, recommended for admission and cleared by the PG College, he said 5136 candidates applied for admission into higher degree programmes, while 4170 out of the total were recommended for admission by various departments but only 3285 were successfully cleared.

 

Prof. Adebowale urged the students to utilize the opportunity available to them and adjust to new life style on campus.

 

Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo was a deputy governor to late former governor Senator Isiaq Abiola Ajimobi.
