The immediate past senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Eid-il-Kabir which signified 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, Hijrah 1442A.H.
Okanlomo of Ibadanland also charged Muslims to imbibe the lessons Prophet Ibrahim (A.S), father of faith, taught the universe about fulfilment of promise to his creator.
Senator Akanbi advised Muslims to stay safe, observe COVID-19 protocols while festival last and pray for peace in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Senator Akanbi advised religious leaders to preach love, unity and peace among others .
He congratulated those that performed Hajj this year and prayed may Allaah grant more people opportunity to perform Hajj in years to come.
