The Youths for New Nigeria Oyo State chapter, felicitated with Muslims on Eid Adha festival. The group urged Muslim faithfuls to adhere to instructions issued by health professionals on COVID-19 as they celebrate the Eid Adha.

YNN urged Muslims not to be carried away by the celebration, but use the occasion to pray for the end of COVID-19 as well as the security challenges and economic hardship in the country.

“We felicitate with Muslims, preache love, peaceful coexistence and appealed to Muslim faithfuls to sustain the lessons of the festival and replicate them in their daily lives for a better society.

“The need for peace, unity and tolerance among the diverse people of the country, our Muslim brothers and sisters should also extend their support to the needy

However, we urge the Muslim ummah to continue with the lessons imbibed during this festival, especially the values of good neghbourliness, dedication, self-discipline and patriotism.

May the blessings of the month also permeate into us all, and positively influence our attitudes towards our fellow countrymen and women, irrespective of religion or place of origin; and promote greater commitment to the peace, unity and stability of the nation.
