Amb. (Dr) Gbenga Obilade, founder of the Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the joyous occasion Eid-il-Fitri following the completion of the 30 days of Ramadan — a period devoted to fasting, prayer, reflection and acts of compassion.

Amb Obilade described Eid-il-Fitr as a time of gratitude to Almighty Allah for all Muslims for the strength and grace to observe the spiritual obligation of Ramadan.

Obilade, who doubles as Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community, said Eid-il-Fitr is a moment to embrace the enduring values of love, unity, sacrifice and generosity that define this sacred season.

Chief Bobagunwa advised Muslim faithful to sustain the discipline and devotion shown throughout the month. He admonised Muslim faithful to build on the act of selflessness and service to humanity.

Amb. Obilade encouraged all Muslims to extend kindness to those in need and continue to uplift one another.
