As part of the activities to make Muslim leaders, elders and traditional rulers in Oyo East Local Government area of Oyo State have a memorable and funfair celebration during the sallah period, the Executive Chairman of Oyo East local government, Prince Saheed Arowosaye, has donated cows, rams and cash.

The council boss made the donation on Sunday, during a meeting with the chairman of Oyo East traditional council, said the gesture was part of his efforts in assisting the leaders in local government to have happy Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Hon. Arowosaye also thanked the leaders for their contributions to peaceful coexistence in the local and urged them to continue to pray for the local government and state.

No fewer than 70 Traditional, Religious and Political leaders from wards across Oyo East Local Government have benefited from Hon. Saheed Arowosaye’s gesture.

The support package, he also said marks another milestone, especially to PDP leaders, traditional leaders and religious leaders for their unflinching support to him in addressing local government issues.

He enumerated achievements made so far, since the inauguration of his tenure, such as empowerment and infrastructural development.

Hon. Arowosaye also pledged his administration’s commitment to a better educational, health, agricultural and adequate welfare of members of his Local Government among others.
