The recognition of Efon Day Celebrations dated 40 years ago under Ondo State western region.
An Agro Entrepreneur, Grassroots Political Mobilizer and Dr John Kayode Fayemi, JKF Loyalist, Comrade Sunday Taiwo has joined prominent sons and daughters of the town to rejoice with them on the occasion of this year’s Efon Day Celebrations which kicked off today.

“Efon Day is a moment to celebrate God’s faithfulness and blessings in our darling town. No doubt, this year’s celebration offered us countless opportunity to appreciate God and celebrate cultural values Efon Alaaye added to our country.
“I want to sincerely congratulate our royal father, HRM, Oba (Dr) Emmanuel Aladejare, Obalufon Alayemore of Efon Alaaye Kingdom, High Chiefs, Spiritual Leaders, Political Leaders, sons and daughters of Efon Alaaye on this year’s Efon Day Celebrations.
“As a grassroots mobiliser and lover of young and old in our town, I am using this celebration to charge our youths to shun violence, thuggery and hooliganism capable of undermining our progress and unity. When youths shun social vices of all forms; development of our darling town will be faster than expected”.
