Cutting of ECC 2022 End of the Year Party

The Centre Manager, Emergency Communications Centre, Ibadan, Mr. Emmanuel Oladeji on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 appealed to all employees of the organization to continue tolerance of one another in the quest for social harmony and overall interest of the organization to achieve common goals. This was contained in his opening address at the 2022 end of the year party.

The elaborate event held in the premises of ECC Ibadan Centre was characterized with abundant extravaganza which moulded a scintillating scene coloured with arrays of enticing activities beyond the experience of the previous year. The centre manager further opined that social harmony and unity remains inevitable towards sustaining organizational prosperity and motivating the centre management who has always demonstrated uncensored commitment to the well being of all members of the organization.

The event which lasted for five hours developmentally featured new activities which included Christmas Carol , Questions and Answers session, Indoor games and Gele tying and tie knotting competition. All the new additions were structured as competition with each group ( work group) having representatives for each of the competition. Group C represented by Mr Makanjuola Rasheed and Miss Olamide clinched the first position with 24 points in the questions and answers part of the event.

Mrs Folajin Adefunke representing group D beat other groups to come first in the Scrabble competition with 186 points. Miss Sekinat of group C similarly came first in the ayò olópón competition – while Mr Akinwumi Sheriffdeen of group B walked past his closest competitor, Mr Hammed Hamzat of group A on a score line of 21-7 to come first in the table tennis competition. Mr. Sunday Emmanuel of group C accordingly came first in the keenly contested WHOT competition. For the tie knotting competition, Mrs. Adedokun Adenike came first while Mr Tawab topped his tough competitors in the gélè setting competition.

Other activities reinforcingly adding colour to the event were the dance show which attracted many participants across diverse social strata, recharge card giveaways which resulted in Abilawon Ayoade winning GLO card, Mr Rasheed ( MTN) and Miss Olamide ( Airtel). And Mr Ayoade later specially booked for #500 airtime gift for winning the special general question where he correctly pronounced the full name of the centre manager, Mr. Oladeji Emmanuel Ayorinde. And the eventual cutting of the anniversary cake.

Also part of the event, just like last year, was announcement of award presentation to very few outstanding employees under different categories: most punctual ( Popoola Hikmat) , Team Player of the year ( Akinwumi Sheriffdeen), Best dressed employee ( Ojo Bunmi) and supervisor of the year ( Mr. Kehinde Olaoye). Sealed Prizes were later presented by the centre manager, on behalf of the management, to the office assistants ( Mrs. Shoniran and Mrs. Seyidat( absent) and Mr. Sodiq ( gate watcher) as motivating stimulus for their consistent diligence in line of duty.

The Chief Executive Officer of Niyi Oyeks Nigeria Limited, Mr. Oyekunle was ably represented by Centre Manager who delivered his address and assured all members of staff that Niyi Oyeks will continue to improve on the welfare of all and sundry.

Mr. Oladeji extended  sincere hands of eulogy to the moderators of the event; Mr. Hammed Hamzat and Miss Ayoola Olufunmilayo for the wonderful job. He commended  Chairman, Planning Committee, Mr. Olaoye Kehinde for such a marvelous event – quite sweetening to note that the committee members have activated the critical plans towards the success of the event.
