It was a colourful and rousing atmosphere on Wednesday, March 6, as former council chairman of Ibadan North LG, Hon. Demola Omotoso returned to Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Hon. Omotoso and his followers were received at the Ibadan North party’s secretariat located at Yemetu, Ibadan.
The event marked the commencement of campaign for LG Polls by party’s standard bearer for the chairmanship election, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade fondly called ONALA.
The event had in attendance, the state executive members, political office holders PDP candidates from other LGAs.
Hon. Olufade and councillors from 12 wards of the Local Government were presented with party’s flag.
The pinnacle of the ever was the unveiling of the former two term chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Ademola Kamil Omotosho who was in company of Otunba Seye Famojuro.

Hon. Omotoso reiterated that the breeze of good governance being enjoyed in the state is now under the leadership of governor Seyi Makinde.
While speaking about what endears him more to the party and eventually catapulted his quick return, Hon. Omotoso stressed that Governor Makinde is a transformational leader that built his trust in the good people of Oyo State.
He enjoyed all PDP members and the good people of Oyo State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Makinde to deliver more on his campaign promise.
Hon. Omotoso equally called on the people of Ibadan North LG to come out en masse to vote for all candidates of Peoples Demoralizing Party (PDP) in the forthcoming LG polls in the state.
