It was a moment of display of cultural value, tradition, musical talent and local delicacies at the Race Course of Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Ibadan, venue of the first World Oyo Egungun-Amala-Fuji Festival.
The cultural and tradition event promotion is a brain child of the Oyo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism under the able leadership of a cultural enthusiast and idea hamster, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun.
It was a gathering of the creamiest in the society, particularly those that matters in the promotion of culture and traditions of Yoruba land, led by the Araba of Osogbo, Dr. Yemi Elebuibon, Royal Highnesses from Ibadan and other towns in Oyo State.
The cultural fiesta also witnessed the presence of various groups of men and women of pedigree, putting on different attires of various colours to add glamour to the event.
The World Oyo Egungun-Amala-Fuji Festival is crystallize socio-economic development of Oyo State through tourism and cultural promotion as it is outlined in Governor Seyi Makinde Omi Tuntun 2.0 agenda.
It also focus to attract the attention of the world through UNESCO to the rich and endowed egungun festival in the state.
